Accra-based grant making foundation that supports local, national and regional women’s organisations working towards the empowerment of African women and the promotion and realisation of their rights.

Isis-WICCE

Kampala-based international women’s rights organisation that works to ignite women’s leadership, amplifying voices and deepen their activism in re-creating peace.

Panzi Foundation

Bukavu-based initiative that supports the on-going work of Panzi Hospital and works to improve access to and the quality of maternal and reproductive health, promote and encourage the application of women’s rights and gender equality and prevent violence against women and children.

Polyclinic of Hope

An initiative of the Rwanda Women’s Network developed in the aftermath of the Rwandan genocide that provides holistic services for women and girl survivors of gender-based violence and women living with HIV/AIDS.

Raising Voices

Kampala-based international organisation that works towards the prevention of violence against women and children. Raising Voices strives to influence the power dynamics shaping relationships particularly between women and men, girls and boys, and adults and children.

Sophiatown Community Psychology Services

A community organisation based in Sophiatown, Johannesburg providing comprehensive mental health-care programmes to vulnerable children, adults and families and addressing the mental-health challenges of poverty, violence, forced migration, HIV/AIDS, and the scarcity of skilled counsellors.
